We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead a childcare service located in Bondi Junction area . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early childhood professional to play a key role in the ongoing management of a well-established early childhood service. About the Role: As Centre Director, you are responsible for the day-to-day operational, educational, and regulatory management of the early childhood education and care service. Your role ensures the delivery of high-quality learning programs, compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, and the fostering of strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the community. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & People Management Lead and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care. Foster a positive team culture that reflects the service’s philosophy and values. Recruit, mentor, and support staff performance and professional development. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing reflective practice. Educational Program & Practice Ensure the implementation of a child-centred, play-based curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). Support educational leaders and educators in program planning, documentation, and assessment. Promote continuous improvement in pedagogy and practice. Compliance & Quality Assurance Maintain compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Work Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation. Lead the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and prepare for Assessment & Rating. Ensure policies, procedures, and daily operations meet regulatory and company standards. Family & Community Engagement Build strong, respectful relationships with families, children, and the local community. Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and centre events. Promote inclusive practices that support cultural competence and diversity. Operations & Financial Management Oversee the centre’s budget, occupancy, and staffing ratios. Manage enrolments, waitlists, and centre tours. Ensure the centre environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Report regularly to management on centre performance and compliance matters.
